Pine Acres "Easter Weekend Extravaganza"

On Saturday March 22nd, 2008 there will be tons of fun and games including the "Easter Bonnet Contest", "Pin the Tail onto the Rabbit" in which there will be several categories (most original, tallest, most colorful, etc.) and lots of great prizes, it will truly be a wonderful, magical experience. On Saturday Morning there will be an early "Potluck Breakfast Buffet" at 10:00 am.  So this year plan to attend the 5th Annual Pine Acres “Easter  Weekend Extravaganza".    Oh, I almost forgot, the Easter Bunny will be visiting and there will be an "Easter Egg Hunt" too. You won't want to miss this one, everyone will be talking about this event for a long time.  Each child should bring their own basket to collect eggs filled with candy and prizes and of course if you are attending the Potluck Breakfast you'll need to bring a dish for that, we'll cook the ham!

Trout Derby

On April 26th & 27th,  the 21st Annual Trout Derby will be held.  It's one of the biggest Blue Lake events of the year.  The Trout Derby promotes family fishing by offering an inexpensive weekend of competitive sport fishing. We do our very best to make sure that each and every child receives a prize for participating in the derby.  The registered and qualifying adult participants are awarded a prize commensurate with their sport fishing expertise based on the total weight/amount of trout caught within the specified time period, yes there are trophies too.  If you have not given us your e-mail address, please get it to us soon so we can send reminders of these events to you.

HORSE SHOE TOURNAMENTS

Come join the fun with us on Memorial Day Weekend and 4th of July and Labor Day Weekend!!  Pine Acres resort versus the Narrows on all three events.  Cash & Trophy giveaways!!  Cash goes to our 1st and 2nd and 3rd place winners.  All 1st place winners will receive trophies.  DOUBLE ELIMINATION !!  The Narrows won the plaque last year and we want it back this year.  Lots of fun for a Family getaway here at Beautiful Blue Lakes…  See you soon!!
